So I did the official weigh in thing today. 186 is what I am going with and that was at 3:00 today after eating lunch. Not that it matters really.

camping

So as I said earlier I went camping over the 4th of July. Had a pretty good time except for this kid hitting me in the head with a plastic toy.


Of course during the photo review I came to a scary realization. Shit I am a fat bastard and really white.
So it is officially on. I made a promose to Paul Walters, my good friend for a long time and owner of Skaters Advocate that I would run the Crim www.crim.org with him this year. I hve 38 days from now and have NEVER run a marathon in my friggin life. This could possibly be the one this that kills me but I have to do it. I'll keep it updated here on my progress.

I don't really know what the hell I am saying there. Anyway, Jacob had his karate ceremony in the park on Friday July 11th. Pretty cool. The kids have about a 10 minute attention span before they start to throw grass and mess around but he is usually pretty good when he does this stuff. He looks so cool in his karate uniform. Can't wait until he can kick my ass right...
He is now a yellow belt in his kids group. They don't just do kicks and stuff which is pretty cool, they teach balance, positive thinking and well being. So I approve.

So not sure if you have ever heard of Levi Meeuwenberg but this dude is off the hook. He's from Ann Arbor and competes on Ninja Challenge. Not much more that you can say other than holy shit.

Great Customer Service!

So I got a good one. I went to Lowes today and had to but some utility blades to scrape my contractor sticker off the inside of my car window. Simple purchase, there was a 5 pak of blades for $1.08 ($1.14 w/ tax just to make the story accurate) and I go to the self checkout line to pay for them. First, I love that there is a self checkout line with a person there to make sure you actually self check out. Don't get me started on the research that I did on items of larger value that weigh the same amount. Anyway, I scan the first item and then hit finish and pay. My next option on the screen is where I was asked if I wanted to pay $2.94 for a one year customer protection plan on my item being purchased. So let me get this straight. I can buy purchase protection on a 5 pack of utility blades for basically $3.oo? That would mean that I would have to have a total of 3 packages of utility blades fail (mechanically or from defect, not just getting dull mind you) 3 packages fail in total in less than a year just to make up for the investment I made to make sure that I am covered in case of a "mechnical failure in the cutting operation"

Tuesday morning

Rain, rain sucks. That's all I have to say about that. My boy decided the other night when I was shaving my head that he wanted the same thing. So now he looks like dad. Kinda scary.

Working on some cool projects for snowboarding this winter. Looking at taking a trip to Utah with the OG crew. Jeremy, Vest, Bobby dog, Hunt, Foster and whoever else goes. Only thing is Jeremy has to take his own plane this time so we all don't loose our luggage.

No just kidding, I am heading to my friends wedding today.Paul Walters from Skaters Advocate in Howell is getting married today. Probably right after he "busts out a couple more lawns" as he always says. Dude is the mad lawn cutter in addition to owning a killer skate shop in downtown Howell, MI check it out if you're ever in the area. Wedding is at 3:30 and I think it is a non-alcholic park they are getting married at.....

NASCAR fun.

Went to kenucky a while back, figured since I am sitting here I can update my new blog. Brian (Keselowksi) did decent in practice but when it was time to go out for quaifying he spun out.First time he did not qualify for a NASCAR race. Pretty bummer out but that is part of racing. We're working on some new sponsors for him and things are looking pretty good. I'm trying to get a new website up for him soon, his old one for him and his brother is a little outdated and needs a refreshed look so I'll post when that comes up soon.

My life is now officially starting
